  • ENTRY CRITERIA:
    This award will be presented to the business or individual who can best demonstrate commitment to community service and involvement in the local business community. The judges will look for involvement in Chamber activities and leadership, and involvement in community events.

    This category is open to public, non-profit and private sector organizations:
    • The nominee must be an owner/manager of a private, non-profit or public company with primary responsibility for the recent performance of the company, and an active member of top management.
    • Member of the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce in good standing.
    • Involved in the Chamber and/or City of Fountain Valley activities as sponsor and/or volunteer
    • Every day practices with respect to employees and workplace flexibility.
    • Has conducted their business and personal relationships with the highest integrity.

    SUBMISSION IDEAS:
    • Brief history of the business
    • How has the company built & maintained its leadership role in the Fountain Valley community?
    • In what way does the company give back to the Fountain Valley community?
    • How has the company contributed time, money or goods/services to community events and projects?
    • How has the company made volunteer work an integral part of life?

  • ENTRY CRITERIA:
    Small businesses are the mainstay of our community. This award recognizes an organization of less than 25 employees which has been in business for at least two years as well as for exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Fountain Valley’s business community.    

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

    This category is open to public and private sector organizations:                                                                                                                     
    • Nominee must be an active business located or operating in Fountain Valley.
    • Nominee must be a member in good standing with the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce.
    • Nominee must have been in business for at least 2 years.
    • Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics: Exceptional growth through additional creation of jobs, revenue growth, innovative products or services, provides exemplary customer service, volunteers in the Fountain Valley community, demonstrates economic support of the Fountain Valley area business community.

    • Brief history of business (include how long nominee has been in business in the area; description of product line or scope of services offered; number of employees initially and number of employees presently).

    This award recognizes an organization of 26+ employees which has been in business for at least two years as well as for exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Fountain Valley’s business community.

    This category is open to public and private sector organizations:
    • Nominee must be an active business located or operating in Fountain Valley.
    • Nominee must be a member in good standing with the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce.
    • Nominee must have been in business for at least 2 years.
    • Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics: Exceptional growth through additional creation of jobs, revenue growth, innovative products or services, provides exemplary customer service, volunteers in the Fountain Valley community, demonstrates economic support of the Fountain Valley area business community.

    •    The nominee must be an owner/manager with primary responsibility for the recent performance of the company, and an active member of top management.
    •    Member of the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce in good standing.
    •    Innovative marketing approach 
    •    Every day practices with respect to employees and workplace flexibility.
    •    Has conducted their business and personal relationships with the highest integrity.

  • ENTRY CRITERIA:
    This award will be presented to the Service Club for their outstanding support of the Fountain Valley community through its community involvement. It is designed to recognize the best, most innovative, highly creative and most effective organization in accomplishing their goals.

    This category is open to 501©3 organizations located or operating in the Fountain Valley area.
    •    Nominee must be a member in good standing with the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce.
    •    Nominee must have been in operation for at least 3 years.
    •    Nominee must have shown exemplary support to the Fountain Valley area through contributions and support of the community while adhering to the non-profit’s mission statement.
    •    Mission statement of the non-profit organization must be provided.
    •    The Chamber reserves the right to request two letters of reference from a third party.  The nominee may furnish one of these letters if they did not submit the original nomination form.

    •    Only one category per year
    •    The application is very important in the nomination process. Please review all information for accuracy and attach any supporting materials you feel will help the judges.

    HOW WINNER IS CHOSEN
    The nominee will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges. These judges are community leaders, economic developers, educators, and business development executives.
